The House system is an integral and vibrant part of SVIS. The house system is designed to reflect and enhance the values in life. The house system aims to give students an identity and sense of pride in a supportive and secure environment. The houses provide for healthy competition and a closer rapport between students and teachers.

All the students of the school except the Kinder Garten are pooled in to four different houses. The activities inculcate educational, cultural, social, aesthetic values, leadership, team spirit, civic sense, self discipline etc. Inter House competitions provide a platform to the participants to express and exhibit their talents and skills.
